SO... what is Permanent Makeup (aka Permanent Cosmetics) ?

This is a brief description; the placement (insertion) of pigment into the derma layer of the skin, and it is permanent.

	Medical Applications including areole/nipple re-pigmentation, scar camouflage, scar needling, pigment correction and tattoo modification.

We have listed a few questions you should be asking about permanent makeup, differences in procedures, training and the instructor:

What credentials or training does the technician or instructor have?
Do they have verifiable references?
Do they participate in ongoing training and education?
Are they associated with any professional organization?
Do they provide comprehensive consultation that includes shaping, color selection and pre/post procedures?
Are tools 100% disposable or autoclaved according to OSHA
If a Rotary machine is used, is it the kind that can be sanitized properly.
Are procedures done in a clinical and disinfected environment?
