Questions you should be
asking about permanent makeup (aka permanent cosmetics), differences in procedures, training and the
instructor:
- What credentials or training does the technician or
instructor have?
- Do they have verifiable references?
- Do they participate in ongoing training and
education? And how may hours per year?
- Are they associated with any professional
organization?
- Do they provide comprehensive consultation that
includes shaping, color selection and pre/post procedures?
- Are procedures done in a clinical and
disinfected
environment? Do they know the difference between sanitary, disinfected
or sterile?
- Are tools 100% disposable or autoclaved according to
OSHA. Do they have the Spore Strip Test results to prove it? Do
they know what spore tests are??
- If a Rotary machine is used, is it the kind that
can be sterilized properly.
- Why 5 days compared to 3 days
of training.
- What happens if you need more
help. Do you have to pay, again?
- Who is actually teaching?
The certified instructor or an assistant? Are they actually certified at any
level?
